Well Drilling

Arriving late Friday for an overnight at the cabin, I was surprised to find a drilling rig sitting in a cluster of trees next to our picnic table.

Apparently, we are getting our well!

It looked like the drilling was somewhere in mid-process.

There was a pile of material ejected from the hole, which was very wet clay. At least we hit some moisture down there.

In other news, we have drawings done for the building permit, and I expect we should see the footers going in soon.
